September 30 - Cargolux Airlines has taken delivery of a new Boeing 747-8 freighter.
Spirit of Schengen (LX-VCN) is Cargolux's 14th 747-8 freighter. The aircraft was originally scheduled to be delivered in 2017 but Boeing and Cargolux agreed to advance the delivery.
LX-VCN will operate its first commercial flight from Seattle to Luxembourg today.
