March 1 - The CARGO S.H.O.P. (Specialised, Heavyweight, ODC and Project) 2010 exposition in Mumbai at the end of this month is be opened by a member of Belgium's Royal family.
HRH Prince Philippe, Belgian Crown Prince, is set to inaugurate the CARGO SHOP 2010 conference and exposition and visit the Antwerp Port Authority's booth at the event.
Cargo Shop is organised by EXIM INDIA's Fairplay Exposition Group, at the Mumbai World Trade Centre from March 25.
The Crown Prince will be accompanied by a high-profile Belgian business delegation which is on an economic mission to India.
The event to be held in South Asia, CARGO Shop 2010 will focus on Breakbulk, Heavy Lift and Project Cargo Forwarding.
Besides the exposition, which runs from March 25 to 27 (from 10 am to 6.30 pm), the event also features a concurrent high-powered conference having the theme 'Breakbulk and Heavy Lift: Opportunities in Emerging Markets' which takes place on March 25 and 26 at the nearby Hotel Taj President.
Another highlight of the show will be the presence of Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International in the exhibition hall. Staff from the magazine will be available for discussions and meetings about the industry and the magazine.
