US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), in collaboration with Oshkosh Defense, placed an order with Broshuis for 170 PL2 pendular axle semi-low loaders.
In addition to the delivery of the trailers, the contract includes service and support for the coming years. Broshuis added that the contract is valued at more than EUR50 million (USD56.3 million).
In recent years, Broshuis has invested heavily in new production facilities, which means that this large order can be built entirely in-house in Kampen, the Netherlands.
