Blue Water Shipping has relocated and expanded its facilities in Aberdeen, Scotland, with a new office, modern warehouse and an additional laydown area.
The expanded facilities will accommodate the substantial growth of the business and improve operational efficiency in handling the complex logistics of oil and energy transportation, said Blue Water.
Stewart Greig, general manager Blue Water Aberdeen, said that, “with these improved facilities we are better equipped to meet the increasing demands of our projects and look forward to continuing our success in facilitating logistics for critical operations”.
The 374 sq m warehouse facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure secure and efficient operations, including truck loading and unloading, basket stuffing and offshore container handling. The new site also has an extensive laydown area, supporting a laydown area in Thainstone, Inverurie, further north of Aberdeen.
Located at Kirkton Drive, Dyce, Aberdeen, the site is accessed from Pitmedden Road – a four-minute drive from Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR).
