BDP International has expanded its presence in Egypt with the opening of an office in Port Said, its fourth office in the country, and 150th office worldwide.
The operation will be overseen by country manager, Emad Tawfik, who will report to Fikret Ersoy, BDP’s managing director of the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
“Africa has been poised as the next frontier for supply chains. As such, BDP International continues to grow with the needs of our customers. With the Port Said location, we now have a presence in each of Egypt’s major ports and strengthen our position in the market,” explained Ersoy.
The Port Said office will offer a wide array of services, including ocean export and import, Customs clearance, project logistics and ground transport to customers from the chemical, petrochemical, consumer goods, industrial, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), textile and retail industries.
