The city of Antwerp will see the return of a trade fair for the breakbulk community in 2019.
The inaugural Antwerp XL event will be “the ultimate event for the breakbulk industry, involving all the key players in the handling of breakbulk and project cargo,” according to the organisers, Easyfairs.
Antwerp XL is set to take place from May 7 - 9, 2019 at the Antwerp Expo, one month ahead of the Breakbulk Europe event in Bremen, which had been an established part of the Antwerp calendar for over a decade before its organisers moved it to the German city this year.
Easyfairs says that the exhibition and conference “will bring together cargo owners and specialised transportation professionals from across Europe and the rest of the world to meet, learn, network and conduct business.”
An interesting proposition given the fact that a very successful and well established event, which does something very similar, targeting the same audience, will be taking place in Bremen just a few weeks later.
