March 16 - ALE de Mexico has successfully performed the load-out of a 76m 1,050 tonne pontoon over a distance of 150m up to a dry dock in preparation for floating at Tampico, Mexico.
ALE used two self-propelled transport platforms with 26 axles each to execute the transport.
The manoeuvre was completed in five hours.
Tampico is Mexico's chief economic powerhouse on the Gulf of Mexico. Its port specialises in breakbulk and non-containerised cargo.
