April 16 - Ainscough Crane Hire has launched a new division that specialises in full-service lifting solutions for complex heavy lift contracts.
The company's new Heavy Lift Projects division is an extension of its Heavy Cranes Division and has been developed to primarly provide managed solutions for the petrochemicals and power sectors; offering logistical co-ordination and technical expertise for multiple heavy lift projects.
With significant experience in this sector, including petrochemical shutdown activity, as well as installation and maintenance support for the wind turbine industry, Ainscough is now ready to provide a fully tailored solution to its clients' most complex heavy lift requirements.
A specialist team has been appointed to provide project management support, from initial planning and feasibility, through to implementation and execution; utilising the latest 3D CAD technology to plan and review the logistical requirements of the activity, with specialist personnel to provide on-site management supervision and support, as required.
Steve Wathen, commercial director of Heavy Cranes for Ainscough comments: "Our Heavy Lift Projects division offers a comprehensive solution that goes beyond a hire-only contract to provide full turnkey project management."
"From feasibility studies and technical planning, to logistical co-ordination; we take an integrated approach that provides a fully managed, cost effective lifting solution."
As the UK's largest crane hire company, Ainscough has an extensive heavy lift crane fleet, including its new line-up of lattice boom cranes; offering lifting capacities of up to 1,250 tonnes.
