Bolloré Transport & Logistics in Nigeria has appointed Folashade Akanni-Shelle as its managing director.
She succeeds Jean-Baptiste Rambaud, who is moving to a position within the group covering the Middle East region.
Akanni-Shelle joined the company in 2003 as line representative for OT Africa Line at Cross Marine Services in Lagos, before successively being appointed to sea freight import manager at Bolloré Africa Logistics Nigeria (former SDV Nigeria), head of logistics Services in Ghana, director of logistics solutions in Uganda, and general manager in Tanzania.
“Having worked in various roles and countries, it is an honour to return home and I look forward to working closely with the team to navigate this dynamic market,” Akanni-Shelle said.
