Westwood highlights hydrogen shifts as REDIII comes into focus

During February, the Belgian government announced support for all forms of low-carbon hydrogen production – a shift away from the EU regulatory framework norms of low-carbon hydrogen. The country also plans to relax the definition of renewable fuel of non-biological origin (RFNBO) outlined in the EU’s first Renewable Energy Directive in a bid to accelerate industrial sustainability and meet EU climate goals.
