Netherlands-headquartered Breadbox Shipping Lines is opening an office in Cyprus, which will manage the carrier’s commercial activities from the Mediterranean to West, South and East Africa.
The office, which opens on July 1, 2024, will be led by Yusuf Yusufoglu, who has overseen Breadbox’s multipurpose service from the North Continent and Mediterranean to West Africa. Currently, Breadbox operates one to two sailings per month from the Mediterranean to West Africa, serving a diverse range of industries with various cargo types.
The carrier’s fleet comprises both owned and time-chartered vessels ranging from 3,000-30,000 dwt and is equipped to handle a wide spectrum of cargoes, including breakbulk, bulk, and project cargo.
