September 22 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) has opened a new office in Baku, Azerbaijan to meet the growing need for logistics providers in the Caucasus region.
The new office, which will be headed up by WWL Azerbaijan managing director Hidayat Hamidov, offers door-to-door solutions for manufacturers and shippers of cars, rolling equipment, breakbulk and project cargo.
Azerbaijan is a fast-growing market with potentially big needs when it comes to logistics, especially relating to oil and gas offshore projects, said WWL.
