December 14 - Fierce snow showers failed to stop freight forwarders Maxlines of Taiwan and Shanghai Ocean Knight Shipping of Shanghai from delivering a set of three windmill blades to a site in Mongolia.
Both forwarders are members of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
The consignment saw the windmill blades required at a significant wind farm in inner Mongolia moved from a manufacturer in Lianyungang , China. The blades each weighed 7.6 tonnes and were 42 m in length.
Both road and weather conditions were poor during the move but this did not disrupt the movement.
