July 3 - CEA Project Logistics, Project Cargo Network (PCN) representatives in Thailand and Myanmar, has carried out the installation of a water tower at a condominium development in the Rayong province, writes Isabel Freedman.
Earl Brown of CEA Project Logistics explains that before the lifts took place, "CEA Lifting engineers and their teams inspected and approved all rigging equipment." After it was approved, the cranes were moved into position and the team prepared for the operation.
Brown continued, following this, "a modular spreader beam was assembled and the required slings attached. At the sling's point of contact with the tower, protection was applied to ensure no damage to the tower's surface would occur."
The cranes lifted the tower in tandem and once in position, the CEA teams "secured the tower in place". Then the rigging team "completed the project with general housekeeping duties", Brown finished.
