Wallenius Wilhelmsen has signed a contract worth USD195 million with an undisclosed long-term industrial equipment manufacturer.
The updated agreement between the shipping company and its established customer is based upon multiple scheduled trade routes and expected volumes over a three-year period, with rates in line with current market levels.
Last month, Wallenius Wilhelmsen purchased the ro-ro vessel Porgy. In 2024, the company signed a letter of intent for four methanol-capable and ammonia-ready ro-ro vessels, with options for an additional eight vessels.
