Universal Africa Lines (UAL) has appointed Stacks Africa as its agent in South Africa.
Sailings will be carried out by UAL’s fleet of heavy lift vessels that can load and discharge cargo using their own gear. Breakbulk, bulk, project cargo, and containers will be accepted on the service.
“This new trade lane will offer import and export sea freight opportunities to the South African shipping community to and from Europe, East and West Africa,” Stacks said.
This follows UAL’s recent expansion of its services from northwest Europe to East Africa. As HLPFI reported here, this monthly service calls at ports in Mozambique, Tanzania and Kenya.
