On July 3, a signing ceremony was held at the Danish Embassy in Shibuya, Tokyo, attended by Raphael Huot, vice president/head of procurement APAC, Vestas, and Toshiaki Ujiie, president and ceo of Tadano.

The nacelle cranes are designed for Vestas’ V236 15 MW offshore wind turbines. They will require high durability and maintainability against strong offshore winds and high salinity. Further details on the crane were not specified.
