March 28 - Seaway Heavy Lifting has agreed a deal with Rhenus Logistics to rent warehouse facilities, an open storage area and quayside space for 10 years in Maasvlakte, Rotterdam.
The new yard offers 5,000 sq m of covered warehouses, 35,000 sq m of open storage and a quayside capable of mooring two Seaway Heavy Lifting vessels.
"With the facilities at Rhenus Logistics in Rotterdam, it is now possible for us to centralise all our equipment which is presently stored in various locations, both in the Netherlands as well as in other parts of the world," said Seaway Heavy Lifting's chief operating officer, Peter de Bree.
