Sarens is expanding its fleet in Poland as demand for professional heavy lifting and transport services continues to grow.
The heavy lifting and heavy haul transport market in Poland is experiencing significant demand despite current challenges, according to Sarens. The ongoing war in Ukraine has led to a market influx of low-cost carriers, putting pressure on Polish transport companies. Additionally, increased taxes and charges have prompted many Polish transport firms to focus on the domestic market.
Nevertheless, the company said that clients are increasingly seeking reliable and high-quality service providers, even at a higher cost. Sarens Polska, operates a fleet of 50 transport sets across three strategic locations in the country: Sochaczew, Gdańsk, and Płock. The first serves a central hub, enabling efficient deployment of assets throughout the country. Gdańsk supports clients in the shipping and port industries. Płock is home to one of Sarens’ largest clients, Orlen, and plays a key role in its operations.
Last month, HLPFI reported that Sarens had completed two projects in Scotland, including the transportation and installation of two 1,600-tonne swing bridge sections.
