Sarens has assisted in powering the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project in the USA.
The heavy lifting and engineered transport provider is handling key components for the construction of 176 wind turbines using equipment such as the CC8800-1 crane along with SPMTs.
As part of Virginia’s renewable energy ambitions, the project will generate enough green energy to power 660,000 homes in the state.
Earlier this year, HLPFI reported that Sarens assisted Virginia International Terminals (VIT) with the load-in of the first set of monopiles for the CVOW farm.
