July 19 - German logistics provider, Röhlig is continuing on its course of growth with new offices in Asia, Central America and the USA.
In the USA, Röhlig is taking over 100 percent of its former joint venture (Weiss-Röhlig), and the company now has a total of ten branch offices and employs around 250 staff in the country.
In addition to existing offices in southern China, Röhlig opened offices in Shanghai, Ningbo and Qingdao, as well as a new branch office in Tapei, Taiwan, as a result of the ending of its joint venture with Gebruder Weiss in those countries. A new office in Vietnam has also been opened this month, and another will open in Indonesia in September.
As the managing partner Philip Herwig explains: "With this major expansion of our presence, we are strengthening our global network of Röhlig offices and employees on all continents."
Röhlig now operates 141 of its own offices in 29 countries, all of which provide seafreight and airfreight services, as well as contract, and project logistics.
