Heavy transport company Roll Group will add two of KMC Line’s deck carriers to its fleet in the second half of 2025.
With the vessels – to be renamed Bigroll KMC Beaumont and Bigroll KMC Busan – Roll Group will have a fleet of 10 heavy transport vessels. The company said this will enable better scheduling and higher flexibility for its clients.
Roll Group ceo Peter Rondhuis said that, “this expansion is crucial to meeting increased demand from our clients and realising the company’s growth ambitions”. Further fleet growth is planned, including partnerships with fleet owners to facilitate clients’ demands, he added.
The most recent collaboration with KMC Line stems from a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for commercial cooperation signed during June 2023.
