February 20 - Following its launch into the South Korean market in November 2016, Rhenus Group has opened an office in Busan.
From Busan, Rhenus will mainly provide air and ocean freight services, as well as project logistics services for the oil and gas industry.
In November 2016, as well as opening an office in Seoul, Rhenus Group also founded Rhenus Logistics Korea.
Speaking at the time, Tobias Bartz, who is responsible for the logistics specialist's Asian business on the Rhenus Management Board, said: "The primary motive for opening the business site in South Korea is to continue consolidating our Asian network; we've been continually expanding this during the past few years."
