April 27 - OL International has acquired Orion Marine - a project steamship agent specialising in delivering project, oversized and hazardous cargo.
Headquartered in Chicago, Orion Marine also operates under ConFlo Lines. Orion Marine's president, Peter Schauer, will remain with the company and serve as executive vice president of Orion Marine USA.
"Adding oversized logistics capabilities has been a strategic goal of ours for some time, and bringing Peter and his team into the OL International family will serve as a resource across all our company offices and agents in over 140 countries," said Alan Baer, president of OL International.
