NYK has ordered a second LNG-fuelled pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) from Shin Kurushima Dockyard.
The shipbuilding contract was signed at NYK’s head office on January 31. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2022 and will be become the second LNG-fuelled PCTC in NYK’s fleet. The first was ordered last year.
