July 2 - To mark its fifth anniversary this year, the Project Cargo Network (PCN) has decided to enhance the network's image, with a revised logo and improved website.
The new logo is more compact and shows a blue globe with the blades of a turbine around it, which PCN says signifies movement around the world, as well as the network's work in the energy sector.
PCN president and ceo Rachel Humphrey said: "Modern logos need to be simple so they can be noticed and digested at just a quick glance - we feel we have achieved this with our new version."
The new website - www.projectcargonetwork.com - amalgamates all of PCN's current systems into one main site, with the Meeting Manager and Invoice Monitoring System to be added by the end of July.
PCN has also released version 3.0 of its Smartphone Service, where users can search for fellow partners, catch up with latest news and read about their next meeting.
