Mørch has worked in A.P.Moller-Maersk for 23 years, most recently as chief operating Officer of Maersk Tankers. He has an MBA from IMD and is an alumni of Harvard Business School.
Clipper Group's chairman, Frank G. Jensen stated: "Kristian brings with him a strong track record of success over diverse shipping sectors, and I am pleased to welcome him as a strong addition to our executive management team".
Gary Vogel, who will continue as CEO of Clipper Bulk added: "while we continue to enjoy many synergies from being in both Bulk and Project markets, each has unique characteristics with different drivers and cycles. As such, we firmly believe that having a dedicated CEO for each of our core business units is the right strategic decision going forward."
From April 1, the Partner group will consist of: Frank G. Jensen, chairman of the Board & CEO, Clipper Group; Torben G. Jensen, founder & member of the Board; Henrik Lund Dal, CFO, Clipper Group; Gary Vogel, CEO, Clipper Bulk;Per Gullestrup, CEO, Clipper Ferries/Ro-Ro; Tommy Thomsen, partner; Kristian V. Mørch, CEO, Clipper Projects.
