Dutch towage company Muller Dordrecht has christened its latest Damen tug En Avant 26.
The vessel is third to be delivered by Damen Shipyards to Muller Dordrecht in the past three years. It previously received the sister vessel En Avant 25, as well as a Z-drive push boat built by Concordia Damen.
En Avant 26 was built at the Damen Song Cam shipyard in Haiphong, Vietnam and was one of eleven Damen tugs onboard the Happy Star delivery from Vietnam to the Netherlands in May.
The 32 m-long vessel can deliver more than 80 tonnes of bollard pull, making it suitable for handling large container vessels in harbour and offshore towage operations. Muller Dordrecht has a history of providing towage, emergency response and salvage, heavy transport and other services
