MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has introduced a service to West Africa for rolling, project and breakbulk cargoes.
The service will commence on February 19 with a port rotation of Le Havre (France), Antwerp (Belgium), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Le Havre.
The ro-ro service will deploy two vessels, MSC Immacolata and MSC Cristiana, operating on a fortnightly basis.
In addition to rolling or wheeled cargo, MSC says the service will provide the flexibility to cover a range of out-of-gauge (OOG) and breakbulk cargo, which will be typically large, heavy pieces, or critical equipment for specific projects.
