Finnish owner Langh Ship has named its second 7,800 dwt multipurpose newbuild Oliva at a ceremony in Ningbo, China.
Built at Wuhu Shipyard in China, Oliva is the second ship in a three-vessel order. Its sistership, Lovisa, was handed over to Langh Ship in November and reached Europe in early January. It has now entered service for Outokumpu, operating between Finland and the Netherlands and transporting semi-finished and finished steel products to customers and for further processing.
Modern technology and advanced solutions for reducing emissions have been incorporated into the vessels’ design, supporting Langh Ship’s goal to offer zero emission sea transports.
