American lifting and securement firm Kito Crosby has completed its investment in its flagship manufacturing site of Peerless branded products in Winona, Minnesota.
The project involves the design, installation and start-up of an advanced continuous plating system used in chain production. This system adds a unique and proprietary coating to chains that prevent rust and corrosion to products.
“This line was designed with our customers and team members in mind,” said George Kosidowski, president of Peerless. “The investment will enhance our internal processes, which will improve our service levels to customers and scale our operations for increased demand.”
As with all Kito Crosby manufacturing facilities, the Winona plant is largely vertically integrated, with a Peerless chain manufactured in the USA from raw material to final product onsite.
Continuous plated chains are used across several industries, including food processing, cargo control, trailer safety and hardware.
