November 19 - Geodis Wilson has extended its network of hubs dedicated to the logistics demands of the oil and gas industry with the opening of a new office in Singapore.

The new facility will compliment Geodis Wilson's existing hubs in Houston and Vitrolles (near Marseilles). Two more will be opened before the close of 2014 - in Antwerp and Dubai - with a further two expected to come online during 2015, most likely in South Africa and China.

The development is part of Geodis Wilson's Industrial Projects division to increase oil and gas freight volumes by 50 percent within one year of opening the new hubs.

The hub in Singapore is strategically located to service the oil and gas clusters in Southeast Asia. The North African region is served through its Vitrolles hub in the South of France. The upcoming centre in Antwerp will serve North Sea activities, Eastern Europe and Africa, while Dubai will become Geodis Wilson's oil and gas hub for the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.
