Thomas Herwig ceased to be a member of Röhlig's global executive board at the end of 2014. In the future, he will chair the company's advisory board.
Philip Herwig most recently served at transatlantic trade manager for Weiss-Röhlig USA.
To coincide with this change in management, the name of the parent company in Bremen has also been altered from Röhlig Holding GmbH & Co. KG to Röhlig Logistics GmbH & Co. KG.
"We would like to make clear that this company does not merely function as a holding, but is first and foremost an energetic and innovative provider of logistics services," said new managing partner, Philip Herwig.
