May 1 - GAC's project logistics team has loaded a 14.1-tonne assembly in Houston for delivery by air to Luanda in Angola, via Los Angeles for its customer Ensco.
Despite scheduling changes and the dolly size increasing, GAC said it was able to meet the customer's amended requirements and a part charter agreement was quickly signed.
US Customs documents and freight lists were prepared, and the move was executed with coordination from Ensco's senior coordinator of logistics and trade, Kevin Rosato.
GAC key accounts manager Joshua Wagner flew to Los Angeles from Houston in order to ensure the freight was secure and on its way to Angola. The dolly was delivered safely a day ahead of its scheduled launch.
