Fracht do Brasil Logística will open a warehouse at Pecem Port, Brazil, in February 2025.
The warehouse will measure 107,000 sq m and will include 88,000 sq m of yard space, 16,000 sq m of built-up area, plus a further 107,000 sq m of available land for future expansion. There will be 6,000 refrigerated positions for temperature-sensitive cargo and another 6,000 dry positions for other cargo.
Pecem Port’s selection is due to its strategic location, which will connect Brazil to Europe, Africa, and the USA with shorter transit times and further opportunities for business.
Last month, HLPFI reported that Fracht had acquired Irish and UK shipping firm Quality Freight Group.
