Five vessels from Universal Africa Lines’ (UAL) fleet are calling at Onne port in Nigeria.
The sailings were organised by UAL’s outfits in Houston (UAL America) and Copenhagen (UAL Chartering), in cooperation with the company’s agencies throughout Europe and Africa.
The ships Esen, Vega and UAL Fortitude will arrive in Onne from North Europe and the Mediterranean, while Eva Marie and UAL Cologne will arrive from the US Gulf.
UAL said that it is one of the few carriers still offering direct shipments to Nigeria: “The reliability and consistency of the services offered by UAL has proven to be popular amongst our client base, which consists of many of the well-known oil and gas companies and their subcontractors.”
The shipping line offers standard liner services from the US Gulf and Europe to West Africa with a guaranteed sailing every three weeks, as well as more tailor-made solutions for client that require a personalised service, added UAL.
