January 22 - Belgian trailer manufacturer Faymonville has established a new branch in the French town of Villeron, just outside of the country's capital.
Faymonville general manager Alain Faymonville explained that the company has established this facility just outside of Paris in order to get closer to its French customers. "Almost one-sixth of the entire French population live in this region," he said.
Stock vehicles from Faymonville's entire product line will be available at the Villeron site, while the manufacturer's dealers will also be able to draw on this vehicle pool, he added.
Mr Faymonville confirmed that the Paris branch would soon offer the company's complete service. "We anticipate that as of spring 2015, spare parts will also be available, and a modern workshop will make it possible to maintain and repair the various semi-trailers," he added.
The new Faymonville France site will be integrated into the company's existing sales network in the country, which comprises of its own distribution staff and selected dealers handling sales from Lille to Nice, and from Caen to Strasbourg.
