Faymonville has launched a lowbed trailer product range capable of handling payloads up to 105 tonnes – the VarioMAX Plus.
Combining the technology from the manufacturer’s existing product lines – VarioMAX and CombiMAX – Faymonville said these trailers will be able to transport heavier construction machines, mobile crushing equipment and transformers.
Rainer Noe, product manager at Faymonville, explained: “The strengths of the VarioMAX Plus lowbed semi-trailer lie in its ability to transport high payloads, its modular versatility and manoeuvrability”.
The design includes Faymonville’s ‘Joker axle’ technology, which Noe said enables a “one-axle bogie to be integrated either behind the gooseneck or the lowbed when a higher payload needs to be moved.”
He added: “In this respect, the user can choose between one or two intersections in their combination.”
The compact design, meanwhile, means the vehicle can manoeuvre around congested or tight constructions sites and access roads.
Faymonville added: “The versatile lowbed range of the VarioMAX Plus caters for countless applications as it includes excavator decks, outer beam decks in different heights and hydraulically widening vessel bridges.”
