July 5 - Steder Group has relocated heavy construction machinery from the Middle East to Europe, writes Alice Davidson.
The equipment that Steder Group demobilised from the Middle East had been used during various dredging projects over the last few years.
Now, with such projects in the Middle East at an end, much of the equipment is being relocated to other job sites.
The largest items in the 1800 tonnes shipment are two 140 tonne Hitachi excavators which were shipped from Jebel Ali to Beverwijk, Netherlands.
Steder Group regularly mobilises and demobilises dredging equipment for the largest dredging companies. It is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) - a global franchise network for project cargo forwarders with country/area exclusivity. It is also a member of Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) - a global network for cargo equipment owners, such as haulers and crane operators.
