July 1 - EMS Chartering and Erhardt y Cia have signed an agency and logistics contract, where Erhardt will act as booking agent for the German shipping company whilst also serving as representative for the entire EMS-Fehn-Group in Spain.
The ceo of EMS-Fehn-Group, Manfred Müller, commented that the agreement "will be for the benefit of the whole group" since the majority of its "member companies have business relations with Spanish clients."
Erhardt is active in brokering, ship agency, stevedoring, trucking, logistics and trading of industrial products and raw materials. Therefore, the alliance will "help us develop our customer relations", according to Ingo Hesse, managing director of EMS Chartering.
