Danish shipping company DFDS will resume its five weekly freight departures between Cuxhaven, Germany, and Immingham, UK.
In April, DFDS reduced its scheduled cargo services to three departures with just a single ship, due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. As of this week, two ro-ro vessels link the gateways on a full scheduled service.
“The cargo volumes between Germany and Great Britain, in particular as it relates to new vehicle shipments, are once again increasing. We are therefore happy to return back to normality and offer our customers almost daily departures,” said Ortolf Barth, route director at DFDS.
