Crowley has received a USD2.3 billion, seven-year contract from US Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) to support the military’s transportation and logistics requirements under the Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS) programme.
Crowley was awarded the original contract in 2017. DFTS covers all forms of surface transport in continenal USA, Alaska, and Canada, including less than truckload (LTL), full truckload (FTL), expedited, time-definite and rail services, as well as cross-docking and warehousing.
