Chipolbrok has ordered two more newbuild multipurpose ships, scheduled to enter service in 2025 and 2026.
The vessels will have similar specifications to the six delivered in the company’s latest newbuilding programme (approx. 62,000 dwt, 300-tonne lift capacity).
Tai Xing, Herbert, Pilecki, Yong Xing, Yu An and and the recently commissioned Boym are almost identical in construction and feature box-shaped holds without centreline bulkheads, 75,000 cu m of under-deck space, and a 5,000 sq m flush weather deck.
The ships are suited to carrying heavy and out-of-gauge cargoes, as well as other bulk and general cargoes.
Classification was done by DNV as +1A, general dry cargo ship together with Chinese classification CCS CSA and Polish Register of Shipping, respectively.
