BIMCO has published Check before Fixing 2021 – a practical handbook to help shipping practitioners navigate today’s complex risk management environment.
The association said the publication is not a legal textbook for lawyers but a “must have” tool for shipping people who need to make quick decisions.
The handbook builds upon BIMCO’s experience in developing standard shipping contracts and clauses and its daily practice of advising its members on contractual issues. It features information and advice that is designed to help avoid contractual pitfalls and better understand the consequences of commercial decisions.
