Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has appointed Ben Hampton to head up its recently opened office in Parsippany, New Jersey, USA.
The office opened on January 18, 2021, to meet the growing demands of the air charter sector and support existing customers in the US market.
Hampton joins Chapman Freeborn as the cargo director for Northeastern USA. He has over ten years of experience in the aviation industry, previously serving as director of sales for a part 135 operator. Prior to that, he served as assistant director US cargo for a global charter brokerage.
Neil Dursley, Chapman Freeborn ceo, said: “I am delighted to have Ben Hampton join Chapman Freeborn and head up our Northeast office.
“It’s great news for us but also for customers with urgent needs like automotive and aircraft on ground (AOG) shipments and for new customers nationwide who want to get their products into key markets around the world,” he added.
The office will also support passenger charter sales and the long-term growth plans of other companies in the Chapman Freeborn group, including Magma Aviation’s scheduled services and fleet of B747 freighters.
