Ceva Logistics has set up an ocean station in Laem Chabang, Thailand, to boost its offering in the region.
The station is positioned in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (ECC) and will “help address the evolving supply chain needs of the country’s powerhouse of industrial production,” said Ceva.
The Laem Chabang station is well connected to neighbouring countries such as Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam. The logistics company explained that the location is also well-suited to support growth in industries such as energy and petrochemicals, electronics, industrial manufacturing, consumer and retail, healthcare and automotive.
Russell Pang, Ceva Logistics managing director, said: “With our new ocean station in Laem Chabang, we are able to take our ocean operations in the country to the next level.
“Our new strategic location in the ECC zone with the developing infrastructure projects also enables Ceva Logistics to offer fully integrated best-in-class solutions across freight and contract logistics products to our customers,” Pang added.
