The vessel, which is currently under construction at Hanwha Ocean Shipyard in South Korea, will support operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, as well as possible installation work, in Europe.

The contracts are with undisclosed clients but are part of a combined agreement. They will cover the total period from Wind Mover’s arrival in Europe following its delivery, up until the vessel’s next scheduled installation project. The total estimated contract value is up to EUR75 million (USD77.7 million), contingent on the final delivery and redelivery date of the vessel and the scope of work.

Engineered and equipped to install the next generation of offshore wind turbines, Wind Mover will become Cadeler’s second of two M-class wind installation vessels.

Wind Mover is scheduled for delivery in Q4 2025, meanwhile its sister vessel, Wind Maker, was delivered to Cadeler in January 2025.

In November 2024, HLPFI reported that Cadeler had signed firm contracts for the East Anglia TWO project.
