Boluda Towage Europe has ordered two tugboats from Damen Shipyards Group for towage operations in the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium.
The vessels will be named VB Bolero and VB Rumba and will be added to Boluda’s fleet of 81 tugs, which operate services across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK.
The tugs have a bollard pull of 85 tonnes and will be delivered in December 2020.
Damen Shipyards Group said that the ASD Tugs 2813 are highly manoeuvrable, environmentally friendly and can be used in harbour and terminal berthing and unberthing operations, as well as escort, firefighting, coastal, and offshore towing operations.
