Boluda Corporación Marítima, the Spanish shipping company, has appointed a number of shipping agents operating in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
Strategic agreements have been reached with DKT of Belgium, Shipping Agency Service of France, Peter W. Lampke of Germany, Slavenburg & Huyser of the Netherlands and DKT Allseas in the UK.
Boluda says that these accords will allow it to open new routes, connecting the ports where it operates in Spain and Portugal with these five countries, at the same time connecting them with the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, and with countries on the west coast of Africa such as Senegal and Mauritania.
Even though Boluda mainly operates a container service, it has an extensive fleet of specialised equipment and is able to carry project cargoes.
Boluda also provides port logistics services through Boluda Maritime Terminals in Las Palmas, Seville, Vilagarcía de Arousa and Fuerteventura, Spain.
In addition, it provides air and land transportation, logistics, international freight forwarding, shipping agent, chartering, Customs management and consulting services.
