Blue Water Shipping has opened a warehouse facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in the UAE that will provide short and long-term warehousing and laydown solutions.
Located in Jebel Ali North – just 12 km from Jebel Ali port terminals and berths and close to DWC Airport – Blue Water said the facility is strategically positioned as a hub for the Middle East region.
With 4,850 sq m of inside storage and an expansive 10,000 sq m of open yard, the bonded facility will offer a broad range of services including receiving and inspection; loading into offshore containers; consolidation services; and long and short-term storage of materials and equipment, including heavy lift and over-dimensional cargo packages.
The expansion comes in response to the growing demand for comprehensive logistics solutions in the UAE and the broader Middle East region, said Blue Water. Humeira Aidarous Al Hashmi, general manager of Blue Water Dubai, added: “With our new facility, we extend our logistics supply chain portfolio and offer unique solutions on a hub level. The prime location close to key gateways in Dubai, including only minutes away from Jebel Ali Port and DWC Airport and within close proximity to Abu Dhabi Port, will allow for strategic solutions to our customers.”
